We developed "Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse" around the theme of balancing challenge and growth.
Players repeatedly challenge themselves, fail, and yet still move forward.
We believe that the small instances of growth and discovery within that repetition are the core of this title.
The tension of exploring dungeons and the sense of security from gradually building up the home village—expressing this balance has been our focus since the early stages of development.
There were many difficulties in realizing the system of possessing with a hat.
In addition to the hand-drawn animation for each possession, we created unique skills and combat systems tailored to every possible possession.
Of course, you can gain an advantage in battle by stealing the enemy's abilities, but you can also make effective use of them for exploration, puzzle-solving, and sometimes even as materials.
Please try it out and experience for yourself which enemies you can possess and what their abilities can be used for!
Furthermore, online co-op play allows you to enjoy the fun of adventuring and helping out your companions.
