Also, Takushi Tezuka of Nintendo, who has been involved in the development of the product with the LEGO Group, has sent out a message.
"レゴ®スーパーマリオ"が8月1日に発売決定。スターターセットの予約は本日開始。Super Mario has continued to appear in a form that has been adapted to the hardware of the time.
With this project with the LEGO Group, we are grateful that Mario is stepping out of the digital world of dedicated video game consoles and smart devices and coming into the world as a new Mario that can be played with physically.
It is very exciting to think of LEGO Mario becoming a real friend to children, and of them playing in their own unique Mario world that they have imagined for themselves.
