Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 (multilingual version), which will be available on the My Nintendo Store from the afternoon of Thursday, November 6, 2025. Only the multilingual version of the game will be available for this invitation sale, and there are no plans to announce additional sales of the Japanese or domestic-only version before the end of the year.

It has been announced that the " Nintendo Switch 2 (multilingual version) " will be sold by invitation on the My Nintendo Store from the afternoon of November 6, 2025 (Thursday). In this invitation sale, purchase invitations will be sent to a select number of applicants based on the availability of the desired product and the use of their Nintendo account. Those who receive the invitation can purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 console and peripherals of their choice within the specified period.
Applications will be accepted from the afternoon of Thursday, November 6, 2025 until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, and invitations will be sent in late November 2025. Only the multilingual version is eligible for this invitation sale, and there are no plans to announce additional sales of Japanese-language or domestic-only versions before the end of the year.
The following are those who are eligible for the sales by invitation.
- Have played 50 hours or more of Nintendo Switch as of 23:59 on Sunday, October 19, 2025 (excluding trial versions and free software).
- Have not purchased a Nintendo Switch 2 console in the past through the Nintendo Switch 2 lottery or invitation sales.
- No history of linking your Nintendo Account with Nintendo Switch 2 at the time of application.
If a large number of applications are received, the order of information will be determined multiple times based on the following Nintendo Account usage
- Number of Nintendo Switch software played (paid software only)
- Total hours played on Nintendo Switch (paid software only)
- Cumulative subscription period to Nintendo Switch Online
