Thinking that he can meet Princess Peach if he pursues the treasure, Mario and Christine, whom he meets in town, set off on an adventure in the paper world to find the Star Stones to open the door. Along the way, various adventures await Mario, including a giant dragon that turns into paper and the inhabitants who suddenly turn into pigs!
