The Pokémon Company announced via its official X account ( @Pokemon_cojp ) that it will donate a total of 100 million yen to Kumamoto Prefecture and the Japanese Red Cross Society.
This donation is intended to support relief efforts for those affected by the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake, which occurred on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, as well as the restoration and reconstruction of the affected areas. The company commented, “We sincerely pray for the swiftest possible restoration and reconstruction of the affected areas.”
Additionally, Pokémon Center Online, operated by the company, has announced that there may be delays in package delivery in some regions.
