September 13, 2020 marks the 35th anniversary of the birth of " Super Mario Bros.
In September 2020, the "Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct" was released, and various Mario-related announcements have been made, as well as product launches and events.
One of the most exciting announcements was the announcement of a new " Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Fest " for " Splatoon 2 "!
The last festival was held in July 2019, and although there have been revival festivals since then, it was thought that there would be no more new festivals, so we were really happy to hear this announcement.
We had been waiting for more information about the festival to be held in January 2021, but now the date has finally been announced!

Super Mushroom vs Super Star
The "Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Fes" for Splatoon 2 will be held from Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 7:00am to Monday, January 18, 2021 at 7:00am for 48 hours!
As already announced, the theme is " Which do you want to be? Super Mushrooms make you huge vs. Super Star makes you invincible! These are two of the familiar power-up items in Super Mario Bros.
It's up to you whether you want to become huge with Super Mushrooms and feel secure and safe even if you take damage once, or whether you want to enjoy the fleeting invincibility of Super Star, shining brightly and wiping out all your enemies!
Only a little over a month to go! This is likely to be the last true festival, so hone your skills until it's over!
Chance to win premium medals!
As the name suggests, the "Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Fest" is a special edition in collaboration with the "Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary"!
As such, a total of 300 people who participate in the festival will receive premium medals!
Premium medals will be given away to a total of 200 people who increase their "Fes Power" by winning the "Fes Match (Challenge)" and who are in the "Fes 100 Asses" on both sides!
