A teaser video for "Sagat," the first additional character for Year 3 of "Street Fighter 6" (hereafter, SF6), has been released.
The video reveals that Sagat is set to join on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

In "SF6," the hugely popular fighting game that has surpassed 5 million units sold worldwide, the long-awaited Year 3 additional characters were recently announced.
Now, a teaser video for "Sagat," the first of these characters, has been released, revealing that he will join on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
In the video, Sagat is training in what appears to be a mountainous area of Thailand.
He shatters a tree kicked into the air with his fist, showing that his superhuman strength is still intact.
Sagat is scheduled to join as a playable character in "Fighting Ground" and will also appear in the new area Peak of Solitude in "World Tour."
Sagat was the final boss of the original "Street Fighter."
The inclusion of such a major character will undoubtedly further liven up "SF6."

PR TIMESTo commemorate Sagat's participation, the "Sagat Arrives" Fighting Pass will be available starting at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 4, 2025.
This Fighting Pass's premium rewards include new EX colors for Ryu and Ken, new Challenger visuals for Chun-Li and Zangief, and the "break down!" New Challenger effect.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that Outfit 4 for seven characters will also be made available alongside Sagat's release.
The swimsuit designs, inspired by summer, will surely make the heat of battle even more intense.
