TechnoBloodCorporation, headquartered in Taito-ku, Tokyo, has established a new company, TechnoBlood eSports Corporation, to further expand its eSports business, which it has been focusing on for some time.
Aiming for global eSports development originating from Japan
TechnoBlood Corporation has been involved in the eSports business since 2004, when it hosted the Japanese preliminary round of the " World Cyber Games," the world's largest eSports event.
In December 2020, the company signed a contract with the International eSports Federation (IESF) to host the " World eSports League " e-sports world championship. The first tournament is scheduled to be held in 2021.
In January 2021, the company will open the " JEXER eSports Station, " the first permanent eSports facility in JR East Ekinka, at JR Matsudo Station, in cooperation with JR East Sports Co.
With the establishment of TechnoBlood eSports, the e-sports business in general, the content distribution business for PC cafes, and the security business for online games were transferred from TechnoBlood Corporation, and the e-sports business and other content-related businesses were incorporated for the purpose of developing e-sports on a global scale from Japan. Techno Blood will incorporate the e-sports business and other content-related businesses with the aim of developing global e-sports from Japan and accelerating growth.
