KFC Japan Co., Ltd. has announced a collaboration with " Uma Musume Pretty Derby " (hereinafter "Uma Musume") at KFC locations nationwide.
An original collaboration set will be available exclusively via “KFC Online Ordering” from Wednesday, August 12, 2026, through Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

It has been confirmed that a collaboration campaign with Uma Musume will be held at KFC locations nationwide starting Wednesday, August 12, 2026!
Collaboration products inspired by Uma Musume— the “Uma Musume’s Yum Yum! Kobu Mayo Dip Set ” and the “Uma Musume’s Yum Yum! Carrot Otcha-hoi Set” —will be sold in special packaging.

KFC’s First-Ever Newly Developed Products! Limited-Edition Original Collaboration Sets

The “Uma Musume’s Yum Yum! Kobu Mayo Dip Set” and “Uma Musume’s Yum Yum! Carrot Otcha-hoi Set” will be available in limited quantities exclusively through “KFC Online Ordering.”
As the first-ever initiative in KFC’s history of content collaborations, these products were developed to reflect the series’ world and characters, featuring motifs such as carrots—the Uma Musume’s favorite food—and dishes that appear in the series.

Uma Musume’s Yum Yum! Kobu Mayo Dip Set

Starting Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the “Uma Musume’s Yum Yum! Kobu Mayo Dip Set” will go on sale.
The “Yum Yum Kobu Mayo Dip Sauce” is orange, inspired by carrots, and its rich garlic flavor and spicy kick are said to pair well with chicken and fries.
The set includes the following:

• Original Chicken ×2
• Small Fries
• Crispy
• Uma Uma Kobu Mayo Dip Sauce
• Serial code redeemable for in-game items
• Exclusive Illustration Trading Card

The price is 1,500 yen (tax included), and pre-orders will begin sequentially starting around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

Uma Musume’s “Uma Uma! Carrot Ocha-hoi Set”

Starting Wednesday, September 9, the “Uma Musume’s Yum Yum! Carrot Otcha-hoi Set” will be available!
Inspired by “Carrot Otcha-hoi,” which appeared in the movie *Uma Musume: Pretty Derby – The Door to a New Era*, “Carrot Otcha-hoi Furi Furi Spice ” features a bold flavor combining garlic and black pepper.
The set contents are as follows:

• Original Chicken ×2
• Small Fries
• Crispy
• Carrot Otcha-hoi Furi-furi Spice
• Serial code redeemable for in-game items
• Exclusive Illustration Trading Cards

The price is 1,500 yen (tax included), and pre-orders will begin sequentially starting around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

Both the collaboration set and the individual items will be offered in specially designed packaging.
A total of eight characters, including “Buena Vista” and “Red Desire,” are featured in designs inspired by the logo of KFC founder Colonel Sanders.
You can also see a message from “Colonel Gorshi” —“Gold Ship,” the (self-proclaimed) PR representative, dressed as Colonel Sanders.
The packaging for the “Yummy Cob Mayo Dip Sauce” and “Carrot Ocha-hoi Shake-Shake Spice” also features special designs, so be sure to check them out.

Comment from the Product Development Manager

In developing these original collaboration products—the first of their kind in KFC’s history of content collaborations—we spent about a year working on them with the goal of creating a menu that would be enjoyed not only by KFC fans but also by “Uma Musume” fans.
The aspect we focused on most with the “Uma Uma Kobu Mayo Dip Sauce” was the color of the sauce.
We made repeated refinements until we achieved an orange hue inspired by carrots—the Uma Musume characters’ favorite food.
For the “Carrot Otcha-hoi Furi-furi Spice,” recreating the flavor was the most challenging part.
To capture the distinctive flavor of the “Carrot Otcha-hoi” featured in the series, we conducted extensive research and testing on recipes to recreate it.
The dish it’s based on, “Otcha-hoi,” a local specialty from Niigata Prefecture, features a complex flavor profile that blends Southeast Asian-inspired ethnic notes with Japanese elements like soy sauce and garlic to suit Japanese palates.
To express that flavor through the Furi Furi Spice, we went through numerous rounds of prototyping and refinement, resulting in a product we’re proud to present as our first original collaboration item.
This original collaboration set lets you enjoy KFC’s “Cobb Mayo Dip Sauce” and “Carrot Ochahoi Furifuri Spice,” both of which we’re proud to present.

The support cards feature special designs depicting “Red Desire,” “Buena Vista,” and “Colonel Gorshi.”
The first set of recovery items is themed after the “Yummy Cob Mayo Dip Sauce,” and the second set is themed after the “Carrot Otcha-hoi Furi-furi Spice.”
