This controller is practically perfect.
Everything I loved about the Wolverine V3 has been taken to the next level.
The new back button design is incredibly useful for creating the layout that works best for me.
The buttons are faster and more responsive than ever, and the enhanced polling rate is essential for staying one step ahead in competitive play.
The Evolution of the "Razer Wolverine V4" Series
Capacitive sensors with excellent drift resistance

The "Wolverine V4" series’ asymmetrical thumbstick layout is powered by two newly adopted capacitive sensors.
Representing a further evolution of contactless sensor technology, these sensors deliver higher resolution, superior power efficiency, and greater resistance to magnetic interference compared to TMR and Hall-effect sensors, all while maintaining drift-free performance.
Furthermore, when combined with a 16-bit ADC chip, they detect approximately 3,000 levels of stick movement.
This enables smooth tracking, reduced jitter, and high-precision control in FPS games.
Supports up to 8,000 Hz for control exactly as you intend
For players who enjoy gaming across multiple platforms, the "Wolverine V4" series is truly a highly versatile controller.
On the Xbox Series X|S, it delivers a fast and stable connection at up to 250 Hz.
On PC, it supports up to 8,000 Hz in both wired and wireless modes, updating position data up to 32 times more frequently than standard controllers and up to 8 times more frequently than entry-level esports controllers.
This enables even more accurate aiming and precise control.
The increased polling rate also reduces latency.
It achieves the fastest response time in Razer history, with a response time of less than 1 ms.
Trigger presses, button inputs, and thumbstick movements are all registered exactly as intended.
Customize your controls with 6 mappable action buttons

The newly adopted magnetic design allows you to attach or detach the four removable back buttons and two claw-grip bumpers in just a few seconds.
You can perform actions such as reloading, using gadgets, and sliding without taking your thumb off the thumbstick.
You can freely combine 1, 2, 3, or 4 back buttons and customize them to your liking.
The Razer Pro HyperTriggers deliver two distinct trigger sensations with a single controller.
Using the trigger lock on the back, you can switch between nearly instantaneous input—ideal for rapid-fire in FPS games—and full-range analog input—perfect for precise control in racing simulators.
Furthermore, you can fine-tune the trigger actuation point within a range of 1.3 to 8.2 mm via Razer Synapse to achieve the optimal feel for your playstyle.
The reinforced PBT mechanical tactile face buttons provide quick and clear feedback.
In addition, the 8-way floating D-pad delivers smooth travel and rapid input, seamlessly handling everything from precise 4-way input to quick diagonal movements, while offering exceptional durability.
The textured TPU side grips provide a comfortable, secure hold even during extended play sessions.
Customize freely to suit your playstyle

Designed for players who enjoy multiple game titles, you can create four profiles with custom button assignments and sensitivity settings, allowing you to easily switch between them depending on the game.
For each profile, you can remap the six programmable multifunction buttons and adjust the dead zone within a range of 0–15 %.
Additionally, you can fine-tune the trigger actuation to set the stroke range that works best for you.
The "Wolverine V4 Pro" features a magnetic faceplate, allowing you to customize it to your liking and change its style freely without tools.
You can also choose from six different thumbstick caps to suit your preferences.
The standard short concave cap provides a well-balanced feel, the short convex cap with a smooth texture enables quick stick control, and the tall concave cap with a micro-textured finish allows for even more precise aiming.
The wireless model, the “Razer Wolverine V4 Pro,” is priced at 35,980 yen (tax included), while the wired model, the “Razer Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition,” is priced at 17,980 yen (tax included).
