Chilling", which was released in limited quantities at select stores in February 2023, has been re-launched on May 9, 2023 (Tue) through expanded sales channels to the Seven & i Group nationwide! The lineup includes Peach & Berry, White Grape & Lychee, and Lemon & Greffle. The cute design of the packaging featuring Chilling's character, "Chilling the Healing Cat," was a hit at the time of the initial release.
Each flavor is characterized by a different level of refreshment or relaxation, so you can enjoy it according to your mood. And, to our delight, they contain zero grams of fat, so you can enjoy your relaxing time without worrying about it.
Each can of "Chilling" contains 250 ml, and the suggested retail price for each lineup is 190 yen (excluding tax) for Peach & Berry, 180 yen (excluding tax) for White Grape & Lychee, and 170 yen (excluding tax) for Lemon & Greffle. Please tell us about the highlights of the web commercial.
We used a lot of different colors of voices, and we varied the sound effects, such as the "chirin" sound of the bell being pushed and the "meow" sound of the chirin girls, and we made them flow rhythmically, which is something I have never experienced before. It was a recording session that I had never experienced before, so it really stuck in my mind's ear. The video itself is also very interesting, and I thought the cats were very cute and relaxing.
How did you feel after drinking the relaxation drink Chilling?
I drank all of them, but I really like the "White Grape & Lychee" in the middle. It is slightly carbonated, but I like to drink it when I am tired or when I am alone at home. It's stylish and the package is too. If you look closely, you can see a cat lounging around, and it gives you an indescribable feeling of relaxation, and it's a very soothing taste.
As a cat lover, what do you think is the appeal of "Healing Cat Chillin"?
I think it's the unique charm of this cat, like "I wonder what it's thinking? " or is it the amazing whimsy? Cats are basically "lounging" around, so I think Chirin-chan is also "lounging" by the window, with various views in the background, which I think is really cute, If you look closely, you can see her expression, which is a little bit ugly, but that's also nice.
Please tell us about any recent episodes in which you felt like being healed.
I often work until late at night, and when I come home I often feel tired, so I wanted to have a drink after work when I feel like I need to be healed. I hope you will drink it, too.
Please tell us what you focused on when you were in charge of the cat language this time.
I did both the proper katakana pronunciation of the cat language, which is pretty close to that of humans, and the real cat pronunciation of "meow," so I think there are many variations. Cats sometimes sound a bit like an "uncle," and that's the kind of voice that makes them sound a bit like an uncle. I also made a voice that sounded like "meow! It was quite difficult to express such various expressions with just "meow," but I hope you will listen to it because I made her say "meow" with various emotions.
