Nintendo Switch 2 Software, "Splatoon Raiders," Released! Hardware Bundle, amiibo, and New Joy-Con 2 Colors Also Available Simultaneously

Nintendo released the Nintendo Switch 2 software, Splatoon Raiders, on Thursday, July 23, 2026.
Alongside the game's launch, Nintendo also released a hardware bundle containing the software, a new Deep Cut amiibo, and new Joy-Con 2 (L) Blue / (R) Light Yellow colors.

Nintendo Switch 2 Software, Splatoon Raiders, Released!

This title marks the first spin-off in the Splatoon series.
Set in the Spirhalite Islands—far away from Splatsville, the hub of Splatsville 3—a grand adventure unfolds as the protagonist, Mechanic, and Deep Cut search for treasure.

Players can enjoy the adventure at their own pace solo, or connect with friends, nearby players, and anyone sharing the same secret passphrase to progress through the story together with up to 4 players.
Even when playing alone, you can connect online to send out a call for help, allowing another player to temporarily assist you in a pinch.
You can also answer calls for help from other players and earn rewards for lending a hand.

Official 4-Panel Manga, Deep Cut’s Island Misadventures, All 30 Episodes Now Available

The game's official four-panel manga, Deep Cut’s Island Misadventures, which was serialized on the smartphone app, Nintendo Today!, has concluded.
Serving as a prequel to the game, it depicts the lively survival adventures of Deep Cut and the Mechanic. All 30 episodes are now available to read in the app.

The "Ask the Developer Interview," where developers share Nintendo's manufacturing philosophy and dedication in their own words, is now live.
In the interview, they discuss the background behind developing a spin-off and crafting gameplay that offers a "pleasantly busy" experience.

Select tracks from the game are now available on Nintendo Music, the music streaming service for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
In addition to the smartphone app, users can access the soundtrack via the web version without installing the app.
