What is Chilling?
Chilling is a relaxation drink newly released by Suntory. It was first released at some Seven-Eleven stores in Tokyo, and will be available at all Seven & i Group stores nationwide from May 9. The product is a micro carbonated drink with a mouthwatering fruit flavor and aroma, and the lineup includes three types: Peach & Berry, White Grape & Lychee, and Lemon & Greffle.
What is the flavor lineup?
Chilling is available in a choice of flavors to suit your mood, and there are three flavors in total.
- Peach & Berry (20% fruit juice)
- White Grape & Lychee (10% juice)
- Lemon & Greffle (10% fruit juice)
They all sound delicious, but I am most interested in the Peach & Berry with 20% fruit juice.

Chilling also contains GABA, olive fruit extract, theanine, and other ingredients that help with concentration and relaxation. In addition, it is relatively low in energy at 83 kcal and has zero fat. I don't feel guilty about drinking it, and I like that it contains a good balance of health-conscious ingredients!

Chilling White Grape & Lychee
Chilling White Grape & Lychee is a refreshing combination of white grapes and lychee, with a juice concentration of 10%. It has a unique lychee taste and a delicious white grape flavor, making for a well-balanced taste.
The color is a clear, pale aqua, and very refreshing in appearance. Despite being a carbonated beverage, the mouthfeel is light and refreshing.
Chilling Lemon & Greffle
& Greffle
A combination of lemon and grapefruit, this drink has a distinctive citrus flavor. With a juice concentration of 10%, the palate is light and refreshing. The color is clean, cloudy white and cool in appearance. The aftertaste is slightly bitter and somewhat theanine-like. The carbonation is a nice refreshing accent here, too.
Chilling Peach & Berry
This is a cloudy, pale pink color and looks very pretty and seems to be popular with girls.
With a high juice content of 20%, this drink has a slightly sweet peach flavor. Like the other two flavors, it has a light, refreshing taste that may seem thin when served over ice, but it is easy to drink and refreshing.
Chilling, perfect for a pre-bedtime drink.
Saiga NAKAt 180 yen for 250 ml, it may seem a bit expensive compared to typical carbonated drinks, but compared to other relaxation drinks, the price seems reasonable.
