The real event, " Marine Life: An Exhibition of Fureai ", which has been held at three aquariums in Japan, will be held at the Joetsu City Aquatic Museum Umigatari in Niigata Prefecture from June 15, 2023 (Thu.). Joetsu City Aquatic Museum "Umi-no-Tari" will celebrate its 5th anniversary on June 26, 2023 (Monday). Animal Crossing x Joetsu City Aquatic Museum "Umi-no-Tari: Sea Creatures" exhibition will be held as a measure to "continue to be an aquatic museum that enlivens the town with affection and pride. There will be many explanatory panels in the museum, where visitors can learn about the creatures while enjoying both the game and the real world.

Special exhibition of 30 kinds of Sakana and seafood
During the event period, more than 30 kinds of fish and seafood that appear in "Atsumare Animal Crossing" will be on display as a special exhibit! In each tank, there will be an original explanatory panel where you can enjoy trivia from the keepers and comments from the hooters that you can hear when you donate a fish or seafood to the museum in the "Atsumare Animal Crossing".
In addition, a specimen of a Ryugunotsukai, which is not usually exhibited, will be on special display this time! This is an opportunity to observe in real life many of the many species of fish and seafood found in "Atsumare Animal Crossing," so you may want to study up on them at the in-game museum before you go to the event.
Stamp Rally
There will be a stamp rally to collect stamps with the faces of the residents in "Atsumare Animal Crossing". Purchasing a "Stamp Rally Book" (200 yen including tax), visitors will be able to collect stamps from 10 different locations in the aquarium and receive an original postcard exclusive to this event! The stamp rally book will serve as a guidebook for the event, as it includes not only a stamp pad but also a list of the aquatic animals and seafood exhibited at the event.

Get an amiibo card by "GPS Check-in"!
During the event period, if you "GPS Check-in" with the smartphone application "My Nintendo" at the "Joetsu City Aquatic Museum Umi-Tari" site, you will randomly receive an "Animal Crossing amiibo card" at the counter near the entrance of the aquarium.
