Japan University eSPORTS Championship: U-Champ. " is one of the largest eSPORTS competitions for university students in Japan, with the aim of further developing university eSPORTS.
The three titles being played are " eFootball Winning Eleven 2021 ", " Street Fighter V: Champion Edition ", and " PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS "!
In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, all qualifying rounds will be held online, and the main tournament will be a non-spectator offline tournament broadcast over the Internet.
In addition, the main tournament will be broadcast live at the " Niconico Net Cho-Kaigi 2021," an Internet festival in which JeSU will be a special exhibitor!
eFootball Winning Eleven 2021" will be held as an individual tournament, and the top eight players from the qualifying rounds held on March 20 (Sat) and 21 (Sun), 2021, will participate in the main tournament.
The entry period is from Thursday, February 18, 2021 to Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition" will be held as an individual tournament, with the top eight qualifiers held on March 27 (Sat) and 28 (Sun), 2021, qualifying for the main event.
The qualifying round will be a single-elimination BO3 format, while the main tournament will be a double-elimination BO3 format, and only the final will be a double-elimination BO5 format.
The entry period is from Thursday, February 18, 2021 to Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
"PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS" will be held in SOLO mode, and the top 80 players from the qualifiers held on April 3 (Sat.) and 4 (Sun.), 2021 will be eligible to participate in the main competition.
The entry period is from Thursday, March 4, 2021 to Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
