CEDEC2024, one of Japan's largest game developer conferences, was held from Wednesday, August 21 to Friday, August 23, 2024, and featured over 200 sessions and various exhibits at its booths.

AZSTOKE Explains RIGDOCKS at "CEDEC2024"
AZSTOKE held a session and had a booth at the game developer conference CEDEC2024!
The approximately 50-minute lecture, titled “Customizing with over 300 proprietary APIs RIGDOCKS: ReaScript Development for Sound Creators,” has been released on YouTube.
AZSTOKE created RIGDOCKS to solve problems such as the following:
- The enormous volume of game sound work
- Different creation methods for each game title
- The risk of scripts
- Difficulty securing in-house dedicated programmers
- High barrier to entry for inexperienced users
As of this writing, three plans—BRONZE, SILVER, and GOLD—have been released, and each includes samples and Japanese-language documents, making it suitable for a wide range of users, from new creators to experienced professionals.

HANDAUTOMER for Automating Voice Volume Adjustment

Currently, for voice recordings by voice actors, the volume can change significantly depending on the dialogue, so a person has to manually adjust the curve to prevent sound degradation.
However, for larger titles, the sound data is enormous.
HANDAUTOMER automatically generates curves based on a dedicated algorithm.
TALKTRON for Automating Multilingual Voice Adjustment Work

This automatically performs all steps, from alternately arranging the main and specified language voice data, to performing volume adjustments with HANDAUTOMER, and acquiring and applying the MaxMomentary of the main language.
Not only does it prevent file placement errors, but since the rough adjustments are also performed automatically, all that is required is the subsequent fine-tuning.
LOUDMATCHIFY for Volume Adjustment According to File Name

Based on the correspondence between a specified string and a loudness value that has been set once, LOUDMATCHIFY detects a partial match in the file name and performs volume adjustment based on the pre-set configuration.
Furthermore, you can import and export the configuration data that describes the correspondence between the specified string and the loudness value.
This enables a consistent workflow within a team.
MIDDLESCANNER for Adjusting Middleware Volume Values

MIDDLESCANNER, which is included in Gold 1.0.0, is compatible with Audiokinetic's Wwise.
As development progresses, the volume change amount becomes more complex. MIDDLESCANNER automates final volume adjustments by acquiring this data.
It can also exclude specific paths, such as reverb.
Everything is Included in RIGDOCKS!
All four of these technologies are included in RIGDOCKS.
LOUDMATCHIFY and MIDDLESCANNER, which are included in the GOLD plan, would likely be impressive to sound professionals in particular.
Furthermore, during the session, demonstrations were also given for requested features, such as "I want to adjust and export a large amount of audio" and "I want to replace materials in a cutscene."

"SKYSQUARE" Has Begun!

AZSTOKE is moving forward with a new project, SKYSQUARE!
They have actually purchased a mountain in Yamanashi Prefecture and are collaborating with various parties to achieve the following goals:
- Recording ambient sound 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
- Large-scale foley recording using heavy machinery
