The winner of the GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- (hereafter, GGST) division, one of the main tournament titles at EVO 2024, the world's largest fighting game tournament held from Saturday, July 20 to Monday, July 22, 2024, Japan time, was decided to be Nitro!
The GGST Division Packs the Venue!
Released in June 2021, GGST has become a regular at the EVO main tournament.
Season Pass 4 has also been released, and new characters for 2025 have been announced.
Due to its popularity, the venue was packed! There was a long line for entry due to admission restrictions.

The six people who advanced to the Top 6 were as follows:

Nitro and tatuma, who had advanced from the Winners Semifinals, clashed in the Winners Final! Despite being the underdog, tatuma won convincingly and advanced to the Grand Final!
The EVO logo was recreated with penlights!
The Losers Semifinal between RedDitto and PAR Zando ended in a victory for RedDitto!
Saiga NAKHowever, in the Losers Final, Nitro showed overwhelming strength and advanced to the Grand Final, setting up a rematch against tatuma.
Both players were focused on the match, occasionally sharing a smile.
The energy in the venue was at its max!
Coming from the losers' bracket, Nitro had to win a full set to reset the bracket, but he was supported by the cheers from the venue. He quickly took the first set of the Grand Final, forcing a Grand Final Reset.
The crowd was overwhelmingly against tatuma. However, his aggressive playstyle never wavered, and the set went to the final game!
The winner was decided to be Nitro!
Overcome with excitement, Nitro got off the stage and headed toward the fans.
