Fukuoka University was selected for the Japan Sports Agency's FY2025 commissioned project, Project to Support the Creation of Regional Revitalization Models Utilizing University Sports Resources, and is moving forward with creating a place for new sports experiences that fuse esports and real sports.

This time, in collaboration with a soccer clinic event sponsored by Eiwa Sangyo, we will hold a match of eFootball™ (a soccer game released by Konami Digital Entertainment) between players belonging to Avispa Fukuoka and players belonging to the professional esports team QT DIG∞. This is a special soccer project that fuses the real and the virtual.

In the first half of the program, a soccer clinic will be held at the Fukuoka University Soccer Field where local children will interact with professional players from Avispa Fukuoka. It is a precious opportunity to receive advice from professional players, and children are expected to experience the joy of soccer.

In the second half of the program, an eFootball™ exhibition match will be held between Avispa Fukuoka players and QT DIG∞ players. This is a project unique to this event, where parties active in different fields of real and digital compete on the stage of soccer.

Players active on the field and players who perform advanced tactical operations within the game will engage in a serious competition; in addition to the outcome, the players' tactics, movements, and talk events are also highlights.
