REJECT Corporation, which operates the professional e-sports team "REJECT", and NURO Hikari, a high-speed optical fiber service provided by Sony Network Communications Corporation, will host the "Puppeteer Cup Powered by NURO Hikari", which will be held in conjunction with Fukuoka Design & Technology College and Kobe Koyo Design & Technology College. In the "Puppet Cup," popular streamers and VTubers will form teams and compete in a single match against each other in the "Street Fighter 6" fighting game. "I was very excited about the NURO Hikari and REJECT industry-academia collaboration project during the orientation phase, because we were able to plan a large-scale event that we would not have been able to do in our regular classes alone. However, once the project started, I spent my days thinking about "what game title to choose," "what would be interesting for the audience," and "how to create something that would be enjoyed by the audience. It was a great experience for me to think deeply about each idea, receiving advice from the companies and being stimulated by the ideas of other students. I was also able to verbalize my ideas by actually presenting them, and I became aware of ways of thinking and seeing things that I had never seen before. Currently, I am working with everyone who leads the e-sports industry to make the event a success to the best of my ability. Once again, thank you very much for this opportunity. I was inspired by the creativity and enthusiasm of the students. I participated in the project as an instructor and learned a lot from the sincere attitude and new sensibility of the students, which stimulated me. I was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and creativity of all the wonderful plans that exceeded my expectations and were exciting just to listen to. It was difficult to narrow it down to just one project, but the "Puppet Cup" was selected as the most exciting and innovative project for the gaming community. Puppet Cup" was initially a proposal for another title, but as a result of repeated refinements, it became a project that considered the gaming community from the title as well, and the growth of the project was very impressive.
