East vs. West Clash in 3 Highly Popular Titles!
The "East vs. West Midsummer Online Tournament" is an official tournament where East Japan and West Japan face off in three highly popular titles for Nintendo Switch.
And the titles you are interested in are Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 3, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!
While the World Championship 2024 was held for Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in April 2024, as far as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is concerned, if my memory is correct, isn't this the first official tournament since the Smash Ball Cup Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ultimate Fighter Championship 2022?
With three highly popular titles and a competition format between East and West Japan, it is not hard to imagine that this will be the biggest excitement of the summer!
Online qualifiers will be held sequentially starting from June 2024 for each title, and the East Japan Representative Finals will be held online on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
The West Japan Representative Finals will be held online on Sunday, August 4, 2024, to determine the representatives for the East and West.
Then, on Saturday, August 24, 2024, the Final Battle where the East and West representatives clash will take place at a studio in Tokyo to determine the winner!
Since the live streaming of the Final Battle is planned as a special program, you can watch the state of the heated battles.
The official website has been released along with the announcement of the event, the schedule for the online qualifiers for each title has been made public, and pre-entry registration has also begun!
