The Pokémon Company released Bubbly Basin, the 1st paid DLC for the slow-life sandbox game, Pokémon Pokopia, for Nintendo Switch 2, on Tuesday, August 5, 2026.
To commemorate the release, its first real-world event, Real Pokopia Experience! Bubbly Basin at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, is being held from Thursday, August 6 to Sunday, August 9, 2026.

An Area Gate Opens at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse!
Totodile, Mudkip, and Popplio rushed to the Area Gate set up in front of the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Saiga NAKIn the newly released Bubbly Basin, Water-type Pokémon play a huge role.
The three Pokémon watch over the gate opening while enjoying the sea breeze of Tokyo Bay.
HITOMI (@pito_820), a member of the Pokémon Crew Program, also attended the opening ceremony.

Stepping inside the booth as guided, you enter a cool, dark space.
At first glance, nobody seems to be there, but taking a photo with flash reveals Chinchou, Lanturn, Frillish (Male), and Frillish (Female)!
