The "Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2025" is a tournament where top-tier teams from various Asian regions will gather to determine the Asian champion.
The Japanese representative team will be decided through two tournaments: the "Japan League" with eight invited teams and the "Winter Tournament" with an open-entry format.
In the Japan League, teams will compete for points in a seven-round Group Stage, with the top four teams in the playoffs earning the right to participate in the offline finals, PUACL2025 FINALS.

The "PUACL2025 - Japan League" is a league-format tournament where eight invited teams will compete for a spot in the offline finals.
The Group Stage consists of seven rounds. In each round, rankings will be determined by a single-elimination format, and points will be awarded based on the rankings.
Based on the points earned during this period, the playoff seeding and matchups will be determined.
In the playoffs, the top four teams will compete for a spot in the offline finals, PUACL2025 FINALS.

Additionally, the "Winter Tournament," with an open-entry format, will also be held, and the winning team will earn a spot in the offline finals.
