eSports Event Experience Adopted as Shinagawa City Furusato Nozei Gift! Interact with Pro Players in "Puyo Puyo"!

Sega Corporation announced that an esports experience, where participants can compete and interact with pro players from the "Puyo Puyo" series, has been adopted as a Furusato Nozei gift in Shinagawa City, Tokyo.
This marks the first time that an esports experience provided by Sega has been adopted as a Furusato Nozei gift.

As a Furusato Nozei gift from Shinagawa City, Tokyo, where Sega Corporation's headquarters are located, participation rights for Sega's first esports event with professional esports players have been adopted.
This event will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the headquarters, and will include special lessons, matches, and interactions with "Puyo Puyo" pro players.
To date, Sega has actively engaged in community contribution activities in Shinagawa City, such as planning and operating programming courses using the programming education material Puyo Puyo Programming, and collaborating with projects supporting children and young people to hold the "Sega Puyo Puyo Programming Course & Sega Headquarters Tour."
Additionally, a new Furusato Nozei initiative from Sammy Corporation of the Sega Sammy Holdings Inc. is expected to be released soon.
The Sega Sammy Holdings Inc. will continue to energize Japan from Shinagawa City through initiatives that are closely aligned with the community.

Interact with Piponeer and Delta!

This event is an esports experience where you can participate alongside Piponeer (@piponeer) and Delta (@delta_so), both "Puyo Puyo" pro players who hold Japan Esports Pro Licenses.
Piponeer and Delta are both highly skilled players with some of the best records in history, having won numerous tournaments.
Not only can you receive special lessons from these pro players, but there will also be plenty of content to enjoy, including matches and interactions, for everyone from beginners to experts!
Participation rights for this event are limited to two people, with up to two accompanying guests allowed.
Please note that residents of Shinagawa City are not eligible.
This is a rare opportunity to play games with top-tier players!
