The four-day gaming festival Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026) was held from Thursday, September 17 to Sunday, September 20, 2026.
In this article, we report on the Aniplex booth!
Aniplex Booth Report! Meet-and-Greet with the Free-Spirited Neco-Arc
Infiltrating the Aniplex booth!
Visitors at the Aniplex booth could enjoy playable demos of new games, cosplayer photo sessions, and character greetings.
Fortunately, we arrived at the booth right during greeting time with Neco-Arc!
However, Neco-Arc is known for her free-spirited personality, to the extent that it is officially stated, Even if you want to do something about it, nothing can be done.
It wouldn't be surprising if she suddenly started running around, so is it really safe to invite this person(?) for greeting time...?

Such worries proved to be unfounded, as Neco-Arc charmed everyone with her adorable gestures.
A crowd quickly gathered, determined not to miss a single photo opportunity.
To our surprise, she noticed our camera and struck a pose just for us.
Thank you, Neco-Arc!
Before we knew it, Neco-Arc was right in front of us at point-blank range...!
As expected, Neco-Arc remained completely free-spirited even at TGS.
At least she didn't shoot eye beams at us...
Speaking of Neco-Arc, many people are likely reminded of MELTY BLOOD.
The latest entry in the series, MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA, was also playable ahead of its scheduled release on Thursday, April 22, 2027.
With the demo line moving very quickly, it was impressive to see what appeared to be dedicated Melty Blood players lining up multiple times.
While photography of the game screen was prohibited, we hope to convey at least a sense of the atmosphere.
The playable demos were not limited to Melty Blood.
Fate/EXTRA Record was also available to play ahead of its release on Thursday, January 28, 2027.

The interior walls of the demo area were lined with key characters.
As photography of the game screen was also prohibited here, we hope you can enjoy the atmosphere through our photos.
Right next to the demo area, a cosplayer photo session was also held.
Cosplaying as Saber was Yamohachiko (@yamo8cos), while Kichipiyo (@kc_2_cos) cosplayed as Caster.
The crowd was so dense that it was nearly impossible to snap photos from the front.
That wraps up our report on the Aniplex booth!
