A game that condenses the charm of RPGs into a single session

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN" aims to condense the fun of RPGs, such as player character development, item collection through exploration, and battles with powerful enemies, into a single session. The RPG experience unfolds at a high speed, without halving the charm of "ELDEN RING". Players land in Limberd and explore a vast field until night falls. Players can choose to work together or individually, opening treasure chests in search of weapons or challenging powerful bosses to obtain the runes needed to level up.
Locations of bases and items change randomly!
Major changes can occur, such as the appearance of volcanoes or poisonous swamps. Events such as the appearance of a large number of enemies or a falling meteorite can also occur.
Rain will cause damage.
As night approaches, it rains heavily leading to damage, and the rain expands with the passage of time. The players' range of action also becomes narrower, so it is necessary to strengthen their characters in the limited time available.
Bosses appear at night, and defeating a boss ends the day. On the second day, the players will continue to strengthen their characters through exploration and defeat the bosses at night, and the session will be completed when the final boss appears on the third day!
8 Player Characters and Evolved Action

In this title, players select from 8 characters with predetermined stats. Each character can use weapons with battle techniques similar to those in "ELDEN RING," and each character has new abilities, skills, and arts, allowing for a more diverse fighting style than ever before!
The added actions are as follows

- Climbing walls with continuous jumps
- Press L3 to "sprint
The basic actions are based on "ELDEN RING," but actions such as holding onto a bird to move through the air and continuously jumping up walls have been added. No matter how high you jump from, you will not be damaged or killed in the fall.
In addition to the normal dash, pressing L3 switches to "galloping," a speed equivalent to that of "Trent," the spirit horse, allowing for speedy movement!
Weapons with battle techniques and ancillary effects
Each weapon has its own set of war techniques and effects, and these effects are applied not only to weapons that are actually equipped, but also to weapons that are simply set up. Three weapons can be set on the left and right arms, and up to four items can basically be possessed.
Leveling up improves the ability value determined for each character!
Leveling up is no longer based on a status distribution system, so you no longer need to think about building your character, which reduces the amount of time you spend leveling up!
Strengthening items called "relics
Relics" are enhancement items that can be acquired at the end of a session. The system is similar to the "Bloodborne" "Bloodstone" system, where relics are set according to the color of the character's slot, and the effects of the relics will strengthen the character.
Leveled-up stats and acquired weapons and items are only for that session, but relics can permanently enhance your character regardless of the session.
You can rescue your friends by attacking them! Unique System
When a character runs out of HP in battle and is dying, he or she can be rescued by a fellow player attacking them. They can also lock on, so they can be rescued from a safe distance with a long-range attack.
Rescue is completed when the dying player's gauge is cut down, but note that repeated dying will cause the gauge to accumulate and make it harder to rescue the player until the player touches the blessing.
Penalty for dying upon respawn.
If a certain amount of time elapses while a person is dying, he or she will die, drop the rune he or she was carrying, and receive a penalty of one level lower when respawning. By retrieving the rune after respawning, the player can regain the penalized amount by gaining a rune to raise his or her level in addition to the dropped rune.
In the night boss battle, even if the time passes while you are dying, you will not die, but if all three players fall, you will be defeated. If only one of the three players remains, there is a chance for an upset.

We are not considering a so-called management type or live service. What we are aiming for is a game where players can retry many times to clear the game, challenge multiple characters, and play for a solid 15 to 20 hours.
When the player defeats the last boss, he or she will feel a sense of satisfaction from having enjoyed a single game.
Even after defeating the final boss, there are many relics that can be obtained, so the game can be played over and over again in a hack-and-slash style.
Just as there are people who still play the chalice dungeon in "Bloodborne," we hope that you will enjoy the game over and over again.
Of course, there will be updates such as balance adjustments like in "ELDEN RING," and we are also considering adding some additional modes. We also do not plan to offer live services or charged content within those services, but we are considering downloadable content and hope to deliver new characters and bosses by the end of the year.
How long will each session take?
It varies slightly depending on the boss fight of the night, but it is about 35-40 minutes. (omission) I have tried to make it to the second day and use 15-20 minutes, but it didn't work because I lost the feeling of growing.
By the way, you cannot save the game state in a session, but you can return to that session if, for example, you drop out due to a network error.

This is a multiplayer game session that is played over and over again, and we have not told much about the story elements of this game, as it would interfere with the dense worldview of "ELDEN RING". Of course, the background of this world can be learned through conversations with the Round Table characters, and there are also elements that advance each character's little scenario.

Is it possible to play single-player as well as three-player multiplayer?
Yes, it is. We originally designed the game for 3-player multiplayer, but there will be times when you want to play alone or by yourself, so we have added a single-player feature.
Enemy stats are lower in single-player than in 3-player multiplayer, but for example, the 3-necked boss that separates into 3 bodies during battle will also separate in single-player, so it will be a tough fight even though the stats are adjusted.
Are there any intrusions by other players?
There is no so-called PvP element. However, depending on the location, there may be times when the player fights with enemy NPCs who look the same as the player characters.
In the past, players were matched according to their level range, but will matching be random in this game?
It is completely random. However, matching may be classified according to the state of bosses' unlocked status and other factors.
What about cross-play?
Cross-play between platforms is not supported. In terms of PlayStation, you can play multiplayer on PS5 in the network test and on PS5 and PS4 in the production version.

There is no concept of equipment weight. Even a character who appears to be a lightweight can still wield a large sword. However, weapons have a rarity, and there is an element that the performance of a weapon cannot be demonstrated unless it has reached a level corresponding to its rarity.
Is the initial weapon and appearance of each character fixed?
