eSports High School, a correspondence high school specializing in e-sports where players from Tokyo Verdy eSports serve as instructors, has announced the appointment of Go Kitazawa as honorary president of the school. Mr. Go Kitazawa is the founder and president of esports high school.
About Mr. Go Kitazawa
Born in Machida City, Tokyo on August 10, 1968.
He is a former professional soccer player and athlete for the Japanese national soccer team.
He is widely active in the entertainment industry as well as a professional sports commentator and commentator. He has also served as a director of the Japan Football Association and president of the Japan Football Federation for the Disabled, and has now been appointed honorary dean of eSports High School.
He is well known even among the younger generation who do not know about his active career, as he provides commentary on the popular game "eFootball Winning Eleven" and makes appearances on TV. He will be sharing his experience in the sports industry as a professional athlete and instructor with students at eSports Kogakko Gakuin.

What is e-Sports Kogakuin?
e-sports Kogakko Gakuin is the first high school in Japan specializing in e-sports, created through an industry-academia collaboration with the full support of NTTe-Sports and Tokyo Verdy eSports.
Through e-sports, the school nurtures students to become professional gamers, streamers, Vtubers, game players, programmers, game analysts, game writers, and other professionals who can play an active role in society by providing them with professional guidance to realize their dreams.
NTTe-Sports, a leader in the e-sports industry, will be a full-fledged participant in the program, and in addition to highly acclaimed professional instruction, students will be able to experience a wide variety of courses related to e-sports with the full support of Tokyo Verdi eSports and NTTe-Sports. The "Shibuya" Shibuya eSports Center will be located in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Shibuya's "Shibuya e-Stadium" is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a 7-meter main vision screen, 40 high-spec gaming PCs, an entrance hall, and a care training space, allowing students to experience education in the highest level gaming environment.
Students can learn many game titles from professionals, mainly popular titles, in genres such as FPS, TPS, RTS, MOBA, etc. While spending three years in e-sports-centered high school, students can choose not only to be professional gamers but also to have a wide range of future options available to them. Students can absorb a wide variety of curriculum related to the e-sports industry while having fun, increasing their chances of finding what they want to do. The school has one of the highest rates of students going on to higher education, and they receive support in a variety of ways.

About Tokyo Verdy eSports
Established in September 2016 as Japan's first professional sports team and the first J-League club to participate in e-sports, Tokyo Verdy eSports has over 10 players in several game title divisions, including the "eFootball" series of soccer games, the "FIFA" series, "Rocket League", and the "quot;quot;division.
