While bewildered by city life, he is depicted seeking what he can do as a member of the Shiranui style.

Following the announcement of the new fighting tournament "KOF," Hokutomaru decided to stand in the ring again to test his strength and growth.
His Japanese voice is provided by Junya Enoki, and his English voice is provided by Caleb Yen.
