Furthermore, a Nintendo Switch 2 version of GBVSR has been confirmed, alongside save data link bonuses with GRANBLUE FANTASY: Relink - Endless Ragnarok.

The latest update for GBVSR, Ver. 2.60, is locked in for release on Thursday, September 17, 2026!
This major update brings a wealth of new content, including the arrival of the new playable character, Id.

Nintendo Switch 2 Version of GBVSR Launches September 17!
GBVSR is finally coming to Nintendo Switch 2.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version will grant access to all 40 characters right out of the gate, including the new character Id and all previously released DLC characters.
The game also supports local wireless battles by bringing multiple Nintendo Switch 2 consoles together, allowing players to pull off simple inputs for special moves anytime, anywhere, and with any character.
Naturally, it includes all the captivating content that defines GBVSR, such as the lengthy Story Mode and Digital Figure Mode.
