A video documenting a day in the life of Super Smash Bros. player Fujii Yodan (@MTNRFG), who has failed his university entrance exams four times and repeated four years, was released on the popular YouTube channel Tomahawk, which features various guests and chronicles their lives from childhood.
Many fans were curious about Fujii Yodan's situation, as his expulsion from Yokohama National University was confirmed, and he was no longer attending college. In the documentary video, a professional gamer made a guest appearance, revealing an unexpected connection.
Fujii Yodan's Day-in-the-Life Video
The Tomahawk channel's video begins before the channel owner, Tomahawk, even meets up with Fujii Yodan in the morning. Check out the video to see if they successfully met up.
Fujii Yodan's Room Tour & Daily Routine
YouTube@Tomahawk_thThe video visits Fujii Yodan's room (rent ¥90000/month, paid by parents) and showcases his work environment. He has good equipment, which seems to benefit both his video editing for YouTube and his activities as a streamer. By the way, all his equipment was apparently bought by his parents.
A Routine Fit for a Pro Gamer
YouTube@Tomahawk_thFujii Yodan's day consists of "nothing but sleeping, gaming, or eating," a routine that would make even a professional gamer blush. With sponsors (his parents) providing his living environment and equipment, and given that he only does the aforementioned activities, it is safe to say he is practically a professional gamer or professional streamer. All he needs to do now is enter tournaments and achieve results, or increase his followers, views, and concurrent viewers. We look forward to Fujii Yodan's future success.
Unexpected Connections Revealed
YouTube@Tomahawk_thIn the latter half of the video, Jazzy (Twitch@jazzy_669/X@Jazzy_2nd), a professional gamer with Hiroshima TEAM iXA, appeared and was introduced as a former classmate of Fujii Yodan from high school and prep school. Jazzy is a professional Street Fighter 6 gamer, and, like Fujii Yodan, attended Tsurumaru High School and Kitayobiko prep school, but unlike the expelled Fujii Yodan, he graduated from Kyushu University. It was also revealed in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that he reconnected with Fujii Yodan in April 2022 and sought life advice.
高校同期の藤井四段(@MTNRFG)と久しぶりに会ったので人生相談していました。

Although Super Smash Bros. was not selected as a title for EVO, if it had been, we might have seen both of them interacting at the EVO venue. EVO Japan 2025 will be held this May at Tokyo Big Sight, so we definitely hope to see Fujii Yodan attend.
Looking Forward to a Collaboration Between Jazzy and Fujii Yodan
The Tomahawk channel proposed a bizarre project to film a collaboration video where they fold laundry, but the Saiganak editorial department would like to offer both of them a proposal to organize an e-sports event on Oyafuko-dori. (In that case, we would also like to propose taking street snaps of Fujii Yodan on Oyafuko-dori and selling a photo book at Comiket.) We wish Jazzy and Fujii Yodan continued success in the future.
