League of Legends, a popular MOBA game developed and operated by Raiatto Games, will introduce the 164th new champion, Nafiri, in patch 13.14, scheduled to be released around July 19, 2023 (Japan time)! The new champion will appear in patch 13.14, scheduled to be released on or around July 19, 2023 (Japan time)! This is the first time in four years that a non-human champion has been implemented.
味方のAA射程増加!範囲CC解除!「LoL」163体目の新チャンピオン「やさしき炎 ミリオ」がパッチ13.6で登場!
Nafiri, the Hound of Steel.
It is not "the strongest" who survive. It is the most disciplined who will survive.
The new character Nafiri is a dog! Specifically, he was inspired by the ricaon, a carnivorous animal that lives in the savannah and elsewhere. The two canine champions, Nassas and Warwick, are humanoid in form, speaking human languages and walking on two legs, while Nafiri is a full creature, with a humanoid form. Nafiri, on the other hand, is a full creature champion.
The cinematic trailer released shows the Nafiri as a beast that attacks a hungry hunter. The Nafiri was born when a weapon called a darkin took on a pack of beasts.
Unique Skills - We are One
The "Brotherhood of the Flock" appears. The "Brotherhood of the Flock" attacks the targets of Nafiri's normal attacks and skills.
The main body of Nafiri is a single body, but the "Brotherhood of the Flock" supports its attacks. It reacts to normal attacks and skills, but we are also interested in the synergy with various items.
Q - Durkin Dagger
Unleashes two daggers. If the target is bleeding, this skill deals additional damage and additional bleeding. If the daggers hit the enemy, the "flock brethren" will leap upon the target and attack.
This skill works well with bleeding damage, making it more effective in inhibiting recovery. When the dagger hits the enemy, the "herd brethren" will leap at the target and attack. This is a valuable skill that deals damage from a distance.
W - Hound Chase
Nafiri and his "pack brethren" dash towards a single enemy and collide with the first champion they hit, dealing damage.
This skill is unique to the Assassin Champion's all-in performance. Although it is described as a dash, it seems to be able to pass through walls.
E - Fierce Blade
Dashes to deal damage to enemies around him. It also calls forth "flock brethren" and restores all of their health.
Like the W Skill, it dashes to the enemy's position and inflicts damage. At the same time, it also restores the strength of the "flock brethren", so it may be good to use it for a follow-up attack after going all-in with the W skill.
R - Call of the Flock
Reinforces the herd and makes additional "herd brethren" appear. For a short time, Nafiri gains a significant increase in movement speed, gains visibility, and gains a shield when attacking champions. The first kill or assist from a champion refreshes all of these effects.
Strengthens Nafiri himself and allows additional "flock brethren" to appear and attack him. This skill is designed to be used before using a skill to ensure that a large number of "Brotherhood of the Flock" will finish off one of the enemy champions. It is a pure self-enhancement skill, so the key will be how to avoid the enemy's action-disrupting skills.
Creature Champion for the first time in a long time.
Nafiri is the first Darkin in about 6 years since Kane and the first non-human champion in about 4 years since Youmi. He seems to be designed as an Assassin Champion for mids, but I'd like to see him in action in the jungle as a highly mobile dog with a pack. The 164th new champion, Nafiri's skills and champion development episodes can be found on the official League of Legends website.
