Mastercard is now accepting applications for the Mastercard Gamer Academy, an eSports development program designed to provide participants with an invaluable experience in eSports and gaming and to promote a more inclusive future for eSports. The program is a partnership between G2 Esports, one of the world's top eSports organizations, and Riot Games, developer of games such as "League of Legends" and "VALORANT".

Mastercard is now accepting applications for the Mastercard Gamer Academy, an eSports development program that provides the connections, mentorship, and skill set necessary to pursue a passion for eSports as a career. The program is open to only 10 students, but within a 10-month time frame...

  • All-expenses-paid travel to major eSports events: invitations to the 2024 League of Legends World Championship and Valorant Champions, as well as behind the scenes at eSports events, including the G2 Esports headquarters in Berlin, Germany
  • Access to experienced eSports professionals: G2 Esports' Hel, Gozen and other "League of Legends" and "Valorant" teams
  • In-person and online lectures with renowned mentors, including workshops focusing on mental health, resilience, and allyship
  • Comprehensive educational courses covering brand engagement, marketing, content creation, event execution, and more
