Mie Prefecture and The Pokémon Company announced that "Mijumaru Park," a park themed after "Oshawott (Mijumaru in Japanese)," Mie's Support Pokémon, will open in Toba City and Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, on Monday, July 14, 2025.

Oshawott, Mie's Support Pokémon, has been involved in various initiatives within Mie Prefecture, such as the "Mijumaru Bus" in Toba City and Kintetsu's "Mijumaru Liner."
Now, a park themed after Oshawott will open in Toba City and Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture!
- Mijumaru Park in Toba: Opens from 1:00 PM on Monday, July 14
- Mijumaru Park in Suzuka: Opens from 3:00 PM on Monday, July 14
The two locations, Toba Port Sata Hama Shin Minato Ryokuchi in Toba City and Daisei Forest Park in Suzuka City, will open on the same day.
The parks will feature playground equipment designed with Oshawott, such as slides and swings, offering enjoyment for both children and adults.
In addition to this, Mie Prefecture is undertaking initiatives to attract many visitors from other prefectures, such as holding a Pokémon Center pop-up store in Tsu City from Friday, July 18, to Monday, August 25, and developing new local collaboration products.
