Nintendo has announced that the repair service for the "New Nintendo 2DS XL" will end on Thursday, September 4, 2025. The reason for the discontinuation of the repair service is that the company no longer has the necessary parts in stock.

Nintendo has announced that the repair service for the "New Nintendo 2DS XL" will end on September 4, 2025 (Thursday). The company announced on its official website last September 2024 that the repair service was scheduled to end, and now the service has ended due to a lack of stock of parts necessary for the repair.

The "New Nintendo 2DS LL" is a portable game console released in July 2017. It has a larger display than the regular Nintendo 3DS and 2DS, and instead of having a autostereoscopic (3D) function, it sold for the low price of 16,178 yen (including tax). It was the last model in the Nintendo 3DS series.
