Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, that the My Nintendo Store 5th Lottery Sale for "Nintendo Switch 2" will be held in early July.
Starting with this 5th lottery sale, the application conditions have changed.
In Addition to Previous Conditions, New Conditions Prioritizing Those Who Haven't Won Have Been Added

For previous "Nintendo Switch 2" lottery sales at the My Nintendo Store, applicants needed to meet the following conditions:
- As of February 28, 2025, having played Nintendo Switch software for 50 hours or more.
- At the time of application, having a cumulative subscription period of 1 year or more for "Nintendo Switch Online" and being subscribed at the time of application.
In addition to the above, two conditions have been added for this lottery sale:
- Having applied for any of the 1st to 4th lottery sales on My Nintendo Store and never having won.
- Having no history of linking a Nintendo Switch 2 to your Nintendo Account.
Furthermore, due to the change in application conditions, you cannot carry over your previous application details for the 5th lottery sale and must complete the application process anew.
If you haven't been able to get a "Nintendo Switch 2" yet, be sure to apply.
Products are expected to be delivered starting in September.
Nintendo explained that the addition of these application conditions is to deliver the Nintendo Switch 2 to as many people as possible.
