The new season for the open alpha test version of the esports shooter "PARAVOX," called "α Season 2 CONTACT," began on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
The new season implements a new system, a new brand, and a new map.
In addition, a Ranked Match Reward Acquisition Event, "PARAVOX RANKING BATTLE," will also be held.
New Season "α Season 2 CONTACT" Begins
PR TIMESFollowing α Test Ranked Match Season 1, which ended on Monday, July 15, 2024, the esports shooter "PARAVOX" launched α Test Ranked Match Season 2 (hereafter, α Season 2) starting on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
α Season 2 "CONTACT" introduces a new game system called "Trigger" that significantly impacts strategy, in addition to new elements such as a new Brand and Map.

New System: "Trigger"
The "Trigger" is an additional game system that allows you to perform three actions by consuming the Trigger Gauge, which accumulates through the passage of time or by capturing/contesting points.
The Trigger Gauge can accumulate up to 200%.
Accel Trigger
Consumes 20% of the Trigger Gauge and grants a significant recovery of the Blink Gauge and an additional mid-air jump for a very short duration.
Boost Trigger
Consumes 100% of the Trigger Gauge and grants an immediate reload and a small recovery of health upon activation, along with a moderate recovery of the Blink Gauge, an additional mid-air jump, and reduced reload time for 12 seconds.
Ultimate Trigger
Consumes 200% of the Trigger Gauge and grants a large recovery of health upon activation; the Trigger Gauge changes into the Ultimate Gauge, representing the remaining charge.
By consuming the charge, you can perform enhanced firing with completely different properties for each Brand, and while the effect is active, you gain a significant recovery of the Blink Gauge and an additional mid-air jump.
New Map: "QUANTUM JUNCTION"
The map features differences in elevation between points.
As a result, a new map has appeared that requires unprecedented combat styles.
New Brand: "JUNO"
A new Brand "JUNO" that fights at close to medium range appears.
"JUNO" possesses the skill "Overload," which enables shots to penetrate walls, and the skill "Discharge," which fires an electric shock that stuns opponents from a distance.
Changes to the Rank System
Starting from α Season 2, the rate division for the highest ranks, "Master" and "Neo," has been abolished, and the system has changed so that the top 10% of "Master" becomes "Neo."
New Event: "PARAVOX RANKING BATTLE"
A new event has started where prize money will be awarded according to the final ranking in Season 2's Ranked Match.
