The date for the next broadcast of PlayStation's official video program "State of Play" has been decided!
A feature focusing on the latest title in the popular looter shooter series, "Borderlands 4," will be streamed from 6:00 AM Japan time on Thursday, May 1, 2025, on YouTube (*Japanese subtitles planned to be supported*) and Twitch.

In this "State of Play," Gearbox Entertainment Creative Director Graeme Timmins will appear and, together with the development team, will introduce in detail the planet "Kairos," the setting for this title, and the battle against the enemy faction "Timekeepers."
Furthermore, Senior Project Producer Anthony Nicholson will also participate, and over 15 minutes of actual gameplay footage is scheduled to be showcased.
The footage will feature content showcasing the unique charm of "Borderlands," such as new missions, unique weapons, new characters, returning characters, and powerful action skills.
Release Date Moved Up to September 12, 2025! A Chance to Play Sooner
In the "State of Play" held in February, the release date announcement trailer was released, and it was announced that the release date for "Borderlands 4" had been moved up from the original schedule, with the new date set for Friday, September 12, 2025.
