In the battle mode, new rules have been adopted based on the original design so that you can play casually during short breaks or free moments.
In the traditional Pokémon Trading Card Game, you win by taking all of your Prize cards before your opponent, but in this title, the first to reach 3 points wins.
Additionally, while weaknesses traditionally doubled damage, in this title they add 20 damage. The Pokémon ex rule is also updated, with the opponent taking 2 points when a Pokémon ex is Knocked Out.
The rules differ from the conventional trading card game, allowing for quick matches with friends using the cards you have collected!
