Riot Games Inc. announced the first home playtest, 2XKO Alpha Lab, for the free-to-play 2v2 team fighting game 2XKO.

"2XKO Alpha Lab" Announced!

A home playtest for 2XKO, the 2v2 team fighting game developed by Riot Games and featuring champions from "League of Legends," will be held in August 2024. "2XKO Alpha Lab" is a playtest allowing users to experience an early version of the game from home. It will be available in Japan, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Brazil, and Mexico, and playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. The playtest will be conducted from Friday, August 9 to Monday, August 19, 2024, so be sure to clear your schedule!

You can sign up to participate in "2XKO Alpha Lab" on the Alpha Lab sign-up page. A Riot Account is required to apply, so if you haven't created one yet, you should do so now. Once registration is successfully completed, you will receive a survey by Friday, August 9, 2024. Answering the survey is mandatory to access the playtest, so please ensure you don't overlook it.

If you are selected for Alpha Lab, an email with access instructions will be sent on the Alpha Lab start date. You can invite one friend using a dedicated referral link, so if you are selected, share the experience with friends!

Along with the announcement of the home playtest, the video "What is 2XKO Alpha Lab? - Dev Q&A w/ Sajam" was published on the official YouTube channel of 2XKO. The video introduces the participation method and objectives for "Alpha Lab," the first public playtest for 2XKO, so be sure to check it out. The goal is to gather player feedback early while changes can still be implemented in preparation for the 2025 launch.
