On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the service resumption announcement video for "Sword Art Online Variant Showdown" was released, and a repost campaign was held in conjunction with it.

The service resumption announcement video was released, introducing approximately 100 update contents, and "Multi-Battle," which is planned to be implemented as a new battle system, was also announced.
