Fourteen member companies, including Community Network Center Inc., established the Chubu Senior eSports Kenkyukai.

Chubu Senior eSports Kenkyukai Established
The Chubu Senior eSports Kenkyukai was established on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
By creating new ways to connect with society using eSports, which is garnering attention as a new recreation tool for seniors, the group will conduct activities aiming for the prevention of senior isolation and the promotion of creating a sense of purpose.

In addition to the introduction of members and the election of officers, there was an introduction of eSports utilization cases in the senior field and an exchange of information regarding current initiatives with the Gifu Prefecture Senior Citizens Club Federation, who were invited to the event.
The Chubu Senior eSports Kenkyukai stated that moving forward, they will support the matching of services for seniors and the creation of new health promotion services for seniors through joint eSports events for seniors and policy proposals that promote intergenerational exchange.
As a super-aging society is undoubtedly approaching in the near future, expectations are rising for the potential of eSports as a means to extend healthy life expectancy.
