Following the declaration of a state of emergency issued on April 7, 2020 for Tokyo and seven other prefectures, Square Enix Inc. announced that all employees will change their working style to telecommuting.

Square Enix employees will be able to work from home from Wednesday, April 8, 2020 until Wednesday, May 6, 2020, the deadline for the declaration of the state of emergency to take effect.
Business is continuing at home, and no announcement has been made regarding the postponement of game titles or other releases or events at this time.

Response to the Declaration of a State of Emergency

In light of the government's declaration of a state of emergency based on the Law Concerning Special Measures against the H1N1 Influenza, etc., and the requests of local governments, Square Enix Inc. will change the work schedule of all employees to telecommuting from today, Wednesday, April 8 to Wednesday, May 6, and continue business operations.

The highest priority is placed on preventing the spread of infection and ensuring the safety and health of our customers, business partners, employees, and their families.
