Early access to “Bob,” the second character added in Season 3 of “Tekken 8,” began on Thursday, August 20, 2026!
In addition, a starter guide has been released on the official tekkenchannel YouTube channel.
It provides a detailed explanation of how to use “Bob,” the “Perfect Body.”

After receiving a request for cooperation as an investigator from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, Bob has returned to the front lines of battle to capture Ichiro—keep an eye on his exploits!

Bob is a stoic fighter in pursuit of the “Perfect Body” that embodies all of these qualities.
On his way to the venue for The King of Iron Fist Tournament 7 to prove he is the strongest, Bob spots Brian wreaking havoc along the way.
While fighting to protect civilians, he was caught in a sudden massive road collapse and was forced to be hospitalized.
However, having reached his limit with the hospital’s meager meals, he devised his own recipe for the ultimate hamburger. Immediately after being discharged, he launched a hamburger chain and achieved tremendous success.
Furthermore, when he launched the “Bob Onigiri” as a new signature item, it sparked an unprecedented onigiri craze across the United States.
Meanwhile, the G Corporation Army—which had been waging military invasions around the world—seized control of New York.
Kazuhachi Mishima, who had been secretly controlling the G Corporation from the shadows, appeared before the public in his “Devil” form and declared to the world that he would rule by force.
Faced with the overwhelming power of the Devil—a force beyond human comprehension—the military was rendered powerless, and the people could only wait for a hero to appear.
As the economy came to a screeching halt, Bob, unable to bear the sight of the masses of unemployed people flooding the streets, launched a food bank initiative to provide hamburgers and onigiri free of charge.
Then, a post began spreading on social media claiming, “Eating a rice ball is ‘Oni-giri’—meaning to slay a Devil.” As the catalyst for the rice ball boom, Bob instantly became the talk of the town as the “Savior of Food.”
Eventually, as word spread that he was a martial arts prodigy who had once worked as a bail bondsman, his popularity took on a life of its own, and before long, calls to “Make Bob the New York District Attorney!” began to emerge.
Eventually, as an emergency measure during a time of crisis, he was formally approached to serve as an investigator for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
Though surprised by this sudden offer of a major role, Robert Richards—known as “Bob”—a man with a stronger sense of justice than anyone else, gladly accepted the request and set out as an investigator to apprehend Kazuhachi Mishima.
