The live function of Mikucha has been updated to allow users to enjoy the service with lower latency and higher quality than ever before, and the service has been available sequentially since Monday, February 13, 2023. The update utilizes Tencent Cloud Media Services. Tencent Cloud Media Services is a new international audio/video solution brand based on comprehensive and easy-to-use media products, providing one-stop media solutions that enhance the interconnection of everything. Tencent Cloud has released six development kits for Mikucha. The development kits, including the planned offerings, are as follows
- Tencent Real-Time Communications (TRTC): a real-time voice and video communications solution with end-to-end latency of less than 300 milliseconds and excellent network anti-jitter and anti-packet loss performance
- Cloud Streaming Services (CSS): Live delivery management platform
- Video on Demand (VOD ): On-demand delivery management platform
- UGSV (User Generated Short Video) SDK: One-stop integrated short video solution
- Tencent Effect SDK: One-stop integration solution for short videos, AI technology-based facial beauty solution for short videos and live streaming apps
- Live Event Streaming (LEB): Ultra low latency version of CSS with less than 1 second end-to-end latency on all platforms with unlimited connections
