The new version of "Wrath of the Mad Sands" takes place in the "Gold Desert" located east of the Kohler Mine and the Rocky Mountains. The newly released main story opens with the mysterious disappearance of a desert research team led by Katherine, a fellow Raven Shelter member. . You will have to go alone to the "Gold Desert" to find their whereabouts, but you will have to play the game to find out the truth! In the main storyline, you will travel to various locations in the "Gold Desert," where various events and battles unfold!
Automobile Graveyard
In the center of the Gold Desert, there is a "car graveyard" where abandoned cars are piled up, one of Team Owl's bases. The Owl's underground racing rally is an event filled with roaring engines and crazy cheers.
Mojave Prison
The Mojave Prison, which houses important international criminals, has been established northeast of the Gold Desert. Many of the prisoners escaped after the catastrophe, while those who remain are either under the control of the guards or have established cooperative relationships and are living a life of freedom.
Fental
South of the Gold Desert lies Fental, the center of trade and distribution in the desert. Fental is well supplied with food and clothing, and Eagle members also seem to use the town to collect items.
Restricted Military Area
The "restricted military area" deep in the Gold Desert is also known as "Area 51" and is considered by many to be the famous "Alien Research Base & Quot;covered with urban legends and gossip," believing in conspiracy theories that the government is conducting research on UFOs and aliens. To celebrate the release of the new version of the game, an in-game event called "Wilderness Race" will be held. In this event, teams of players will drive tanks in a grueling race against natural disasters, monsters, and other threats in the "Gold Desert". The dungeon is a team dungeon, where teams of three to four players fight together. The dungeon will be opened every Monday night, so please join with your fellow survivors on Monday nights to clear the dungeon!
Starting Friday, September 1, 2023, a new high difficulty dungeon "Heller Air Force Base" will be available. The "Heller Air Force Base" dungeon has a participation requirement of a team of 3 to 4 players of level 55 or above, so please gather a team of survivors who are willing to take on the challenge as their level improves! If you successfully complete a high level dungeon, you will have a chance to win a large amount of gold and supplies once a week. The new "Heller Air Force Base" is a weekly dungeon that will be released in rotation with the "Secret Laboratory" dungeon.
