KONAMI released the latest title in the Power Pros series, Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027, on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
Along with the Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027 Powerful Edition which includes special bonuses, paid downloadable content is also available.

The Latest Title in the Series "Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027" is Now Available!
This title includes a special scenario called Parallel All-Stars to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the player-training Success mode.
Players can travel through past Success scenarios featured in previous entries in the series, with many nostalgic scenarios and characters making an appearance.
Success mode also includes content celebrating the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
In addition to the World Baseball Classic scenario where players can aim for the world championship as part of the Japanese national team alongside the 2026 Samurai Japan members, players can use historical Japanese national teams and 20 participating tournament teams in Versus mode and Home Run Attack mode.
"Eikan Nine" - Aiming to Win the Koshien Tournament
In Eikan Nine, where players become a high school baseball manager and aim to win the Koshien tournament, a 3-Year Mode has been implemented.
This mode is highly recommended for first-time players, where they aim to make it to Koshien and dominate the national tournament within a limited amount of time.
In Normal Mode, in addition to the conventional tactical matches where managers give commands to their players, team play and immersive player control have been newly introduced, allowing players to control the players themselves.
Detailed appearance customization, as well as editing the school names and uniforms of opposing schools, can also be done.
Furthermore, overseas players who participated in the 2026 World Baseball Classic will also make an appearance.
"Pennant" - Aiming for the League Championship and Best in Japan
In Pennant mode, where players lead a team to aim for the league championship and become the best in Japan, Team Special Abilities representing the unique traits of a team make a new appearance.
Various effects will trigger for the participating players depending on the type of ability.
Furthermore, "Overseas Study" from the previous game has been revamped into the Winter League, with the holding period restricted exclusively to December, and the maximum number of participants expanded from 2 to 4 players.
The leagues available for participation and the effects of ability upgrades have also been completely renewed.
"PowerFest" - Aiming to Win the Tournament While Gathering Teammates
PowerFest features a story depicting the prequel to the birth of the tournament.
Players will choose between the Announcer Profession or Producer Profession at the start.
With the Announcer Profession, players can use Fervent Time and Intense Beat, which temporarily boost player abilities and make it easier to win matches.
With the Producer Profession, players can use Steady Link and Viewership Target, allowing them to train players who possess many special abilities.
The Bonus-Included "Powerful Edition" and DLC are Also Available Now
The bonus-included set product "Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027 Powerful Edition" is also available exclusively via digital download.
Players can use Legend OB players and Old Stadiums that were well-received in the previous title.
Purchasers of the Standard Edition can also use Legend OB players and Old Stadiums by additionally purchasing the paid downloadable content All-Time Legends Complete Set.
In addition, Cheer Songs, Player Themes, Brass Band, and BGM that can be assigned to various situations in the game are also on sale.
