Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. released Tales of Xillia Remastered for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
The Steam version will be released on Friday, October 31, 2025.
A launch trailer featuring the theme song "progress" by Ayumi Hamasaki and a release commemorative campaign are also being held.
"Tales of Xillia Remastered" is Available Now!
"Tales of Xillia Remastered" is a title based on the PlayStation 3 software "Tales of Xillia," which was released in 2011. It features improved graphics, support features, and over 40 types of DLC included from the original version.
The two main characters, Jude, a medical student, and Milla, a mysterious woman who claims to be Maxwell, the Lord of Spirits, are joined by comrades with various motives as they approach the truth of the hidden world.
To commemorate the release, a launch trailer featuring the theme song "progress" by Ayumi Hamasaki (@ayu_19980408) has been released.
The video depicts a part of the grand adventure unfolding in the world of Rieze Maxia, where people, monsters, and spirits coexist.
Also released is a video titled "Tales of Xillia Remastered - A Journey to Encounter the Beautiful Scenery Woven by Mankind and Spirits -," which introduces the world of Xillia.
Tsubasa Yonaga (@numanumakapa), who plays the role of Jude Mathis, narrates the video, introducing four areas: Fennmont, Sharilton, Kanbalar, and Nia Khera.
Comments from the Voice Actors of the Dual Protagonists Have Been Released!
To commemorate the release of the Remastered version, comments have been released from Tsubasa Yonaga (@numanumakapa), who plays the role of Jude Mathis, and Miyuki Sawashiro, who plays the role of Milla Maxwell, the dual protagonists of "Tales of Xillia."
They share memories from the original recording sessions and their thoughts on the remastering.
