The end of more than 20 years of history
E3"
E3" has been held at the Los Angeles Convention Center since its inception in 1995, most recently in June. However, due to the spread of the new coronavirus, no offline event has been held since 2020, and the event itself will be held completely online for the last time in 2021. The first offline event in four years was scheduled to take place from June 13, 2023 (local time) to June 16, 2023 (Friday), but was canceled in 2023. The official website and official X (@E3 ) have announced the following comments.
After more than two decades of E3, each one bigger than the last, the time has come to say goodbye. Thanks for the memories. GGWP
It is not clear at this time whether a successor event will be launched in the future, but we hope that one will be created to carry on the spirit of E3, and we would like to express our utmost gratitude to E3 for making the gaming world more exciting over the past 20 years.
