- First of all, please tell us about Walla Walla Studio.

We, Walla Walla Studio, are an experienced Ukrainian digital art studio, currently based in Western Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia and USA. Our team of talented and creative artists, game industry veterans and producers has been providing art outsourcing services to various companies in game development and media production for many years. We always strive for the highest quality and originality in our work.

- What kind of work have you done so far?

We have helped companies ranging from young, enthusiastic indie teams to huge organizations with very complex AAA projects. Walla Walla Studio is an international team with diverse cultures from all over the world, and some of our members have worked with Japanese clients in the past. We see ourselves as solvers of game and media development issues, and our role is to make art design more engaging for players. By taking on the bulk of the production pipeline, we allow our clients and developers to focus on the creative rather than the production, as we are closer to the gamer. Clients have told us that our "strong project management team, led by veterans, ensures rapid iteration and productive communication," that we "challenge any competition," that we "maintain a high level of creativity," and that the "results" are not just work completed, but are "the best we've ever seen. "Aliens: Dark Descent" is not just a job well done, it adds something special to the game.

- What did you focus on when creating "Aliens: Dark Descent"?

Aliens: Dark Descent is one of the latest projects we are working on with major titles from Middle Earth and Netflix IPs. We also covered animation production here. It is great to work with a studio like Focus Entertainment, where you always get the right briefings, tasks, and involvement in the development so you can properly estimate the volume and complexity of the work. Also, as an art outsourcing company, we have recently noticed that medium to large game development studios are not able to devote a lot of resources to art and animation brush-ups. However, we and gamers are aware through the latest news of what happens when companies neglect this part of their production. This has certainly increased the need for this art outsourcing service, and all of our clients appreciate our approach to digital art.

- Tell us about your upcoming projects.

We are in the process of partnering with some of the largest game developers and publishers in the world, but it will be some time before we break any big news. Last year was a stressful year, but we were successful despite the many challenges. This year, we would like to further expand our portfolio and increase the visibility of the studio as a whole, including starting work on our own IP.
