The third free title update for Monster Hunter Wilds (hereafter, MHW) has been confirmed for release on Monday, September 29, 2025.
This update will feature a special collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV (hereafter, FF14).
Various elements will be added, including the collaboration monster Omega Planetes, along with Dark Knight hunter armor and the Pictomancer's painting magic.
Collaboration Monster Omega Planetes from FF14 Arrives! Third Free Title Update Releases on September 29!
Capcom Co., Ltd. announced during the TGS2025 Capcom Online Program that the third free title update for Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on Monday, September 29, 2025.
In addition to the FF14 collaboration, various other content will be released in this update.
An introduction video has been released to coincide with the announcement of the release date.
New Monster Omega Planetes Appears! Invading the World of Monster Hunter Wilds through a Dimensional Rift!
The new monster Omega Planetes appears as part of the FF14 collaboration.
Omega Planetes is one of the Omega Frames that descended into the forbidden land through a dimensional rift, and was named Omega Planetes to differentiate it from other Omega Frames.

If you are HR41 or higher and have cleared the main mission "What Lies Ahead", a special extra mission will become available in the Iceshard Cliffs.
Omega Planetes generates a Nerscylla clone in preparation for launching the extremely powerful Delta Attack.
Also, Omega Micros generated by Omega Planetes will approach the target and attack by self-destructing.
Omega Planetes unleashes countless powerful attacks, and when it enters a state called Pantokrator Mode, it becomes extremely dangerous and virtually uncontrollable.

Activating the set bonus skill, "Soul of the Dark Knight" from the armor set Bale Armor α makes the special action, "The Blackest Night" available.
