Players can play the game for free from Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM to Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 5:59 PM JST. POPUCOM will be available for free play.

Play POPUCOM for Free during Game Trials!
GRYPHLINE publishes POPUCOM, a co-op adventure game.
It is a multiplayer-only title that fuses various elements such as shooting and puzzles.
In the two-player-only Game Mode, players use the Rainbow Popper, which fires colored bullets, to progress through stages while solving various color-based gimmicks.
A Game Mode is also available, allowing 3 to 4 players to challenge stages of various difficulty levels.
Both Game Mode and Game Mode support both offline and online play.
Offline play features a split-screen format.
How to Participate in Game Trials
You can participate by downloading the software from the section labeled "Game Trials" on the POPUCOM product page on the Nintendo Store.
Alternatively, you can play by downloading it from the Game Trials section at the top of the POPUCOM page on the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
As long as you are a Nintendo Switch Online member, you can play Game Trials as many times and for as many hours as you like during the period.
You can carry over the save data you generate to the purchased retail version.
